PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates and implements dispatch and field service systems.
  • Obtains direction and assistance from information technology with troubleshooting and resolving various dispatch and field service systems.
  • Provides technical direction, support and guidance to customers as needed.
  • Evaluates, analyzes and resolves issues associated with maintaining consistent performance levels of dispatch and field service systems.
  • Makes recommendations for training and process changes to improve dispatch and operating efficiencies.
  • Provides guidance and direction to internal customers to effectively define and communicate project requirements.
  • Works closely with supervisors and system users regarding development, implementation and daily operations.
  • Ensures a high level of system reliability and timely resolution of problems to ensure maximum efficiencies in daily dispatch operations.
  • Monitors the status of IS/IT requests for corrections or revisions of existing dispatch and field service systems.
  • Develops and maintains reports on status of project and related matters for use in budget and resource allocations. Communication with management on a regular basis with status updates.
  • Performs other related duties as required..

Qualified Candidates must be able to

  • Assist in small scale deployments
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems as required
  • Work independently in a business environment
  • Manage day to day activities to meet customers service level agreements (SLA)
  • Maintain professional image while representing our company
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work with the customer
  • Advise project/team lead of any risks, issues, or concerns related to service delivery and/or customer sites

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent - College degree a plus
  • A+ Certification
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in business operations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Reliable transportation to travel to surrounding sites
  • Good working knowledge of overall personal computing hardware and software
  • Knowledge and experience with CONNECTWISE preferred
  • Microsoft Certified Professional for Windows 2000 or XP a plus
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP and operating system network commands for example "ping" and "ipconfig"
  • Basic toolkit to perform field service hardware repairs
