SCATE® Ignite Player Help featuring the Individual Learning Agent® (ILA)

Welcome to the Ignite Player! Please read below to find out just how simple the player is to use.

Note: In order to receive the full impact of the Ignite Player, please ensure that your browser will allow full-screen windows. For Internet Explorer users this is accomplished by adding the URL for this course to your Trusted Sites. See the instructions at the end of this help file for more details. For Firefox press the F11 Key after launching the course.

The Interactive Learning Agent™ (ILA)

Next

Click the Next button advance to the next step or series of animation steps. Double-clicking the Next button will skip the animation and proceed to the next faster.
Note: Pressing the Right arrow Key on the keyboard will have the same effect.

Continuous Play On/Off

This toggle button enables and disables the continous play mode. Continuous play mode will cause the ILA to advance at the conclusion of each steps's audio.

Back

Click the Back button advance to the previous step or beginning of a series of animation steps.
Note: Pressing the Left arrow Key on the keyboard will have the same effect.

ILA® Down

Click the ILA Down button to hide most of the ILA in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. The Next, Back, ILA Home, ILA Up, and ILA Down buttons will remain visible.
Note: Pressing the Down arrow Key on the keyboard will have the same effect.

ILA® Up

Click the ILA Down button to hide most of the ILA in the upper left hand corner of the screen. The Next, Back, ILA Home, ILA Up, and ILA Down buttons will remain visible.
Note: Pressing the Up arrow Key on the keyboard will have the same effect.

ILA® Home

Click the ILA Home button to return the ILA to the home position fully visible in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
Note: Pressing the Home arrow Key on the keyboard will have the same effect.

Table of Contents

Click the Table of Contents button to exit the current exercise and return to the Table of Contents.
Note: This button is disabled when playing a single stand-alone exercise.

Navigation

Click the Navigation button to launch a menu of group / topic titles. Select one of the titles to jump to the first step in the desired group / topic.

Glossary

Enter terms and definitions in the glossary. The glossary is saved at the course level and is available to all lessons within the course.

Mute Audio

Click the Mute Audio button to mute any recorded audio for the slide. Click the Mute Audio button a second time to restore sound levels to previous settings.

Help

Clicking the Help button opens this file.

Exit

Clicking the Exit button will cause the course to close.

Breadcrumb Trail

Move the mouse to hover over the abbreviated breadcrumb trail. The full trail appears.

1. Click the answer button to select an answer.

Adding a Site to your Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer

1. Click the Tools > Internet Options Menu. The Internet Options dialog box appears.

2. Click the Security tab.

3. Click the Trusted Sites button.

4. Click the Sites button. The Trusted Sites dialog box appears.

5. Enter the URL for this course (i.e. "http://www.yourcoursehost.com").

6. Click the Add button.

7. Deselect the Require server verification... checkbox, if neccessary.

8. Click the OK button. The Trusted Sites dialog disappears.

9. Click the Ok button. The Internet Options dialog box disappears.

10. Reopen the Ignite course and enjoy.
